I am a highly regarded medical and scientific editor based in London, UK. I specialize in medical and scientific editing and proofreading, but I have edited and proofread work in other subjects, notably education, statistics and languages (Italian).

I have edited a wide range of publications. You can find a selection of these in the Portfolio section of my website. In the Subject experience section of the website, you can find a list of the subject areas I have worked with so far.

I have worked with publishers and organizations (Springer Nature, Elsevier, SAGE Publications Ltd, The Open University, Oxford University Press, The Royal College of Surgeons of England) and directly with self-published authors and academics.

Before going freelance as an editor in 2008, I taught terminology, history of translation and digital publishing on the MSc in Scientific, Technical and Medical Translation with Translation Technology at Imperial College London for several years.

I also managed the Imperial College Translation Centre and ran a very successful series of translation technology courses.
